"Beyond black and white" and "Race Matters" where both intriguing articles that said things I can relate to an have noticed myself throughout life. Beyond black and white made many good points about how in society that the number of multiracial people is increasing and how it may affect the way we think and the changes that occur in the profiling system. Also Race Matters should me the many different ways we are classified by the race we belong to and why it matters to be in that race or class. (even though it shouldn't matter) All of the statements in these articles remind me of how I feel as a multiracial citizen. Sometimes I feel like Im accepted by everybody while other times I feel like nobody wants me around. Im beginning to see the changes in diversity and the amount of multiracial people that surround me. Each day the numbers grow but unfortunately racism will always be there in one way or another. Everyday I wish it would go away, I plan to do all I can to get rid of it even though a part of me knows its probably impossible.

People like us spoke about the different ways people are classified in society. Its all based on money race your occupation and your up bringing. The video was saying how we all belong to different groups and some of us may not even realize it while others may try to ignore it. Sometimes we may move up or down in society making a role exit to something else better or worse. Society should not judge who we are and what class we are in but, according to this video it does.

People can be considered to be in poverty for many different reasons according to the article. Capitalism has a major role in the poverty that takes place through out society. Many people that are poor seem to stay poor while the rich getting richer there are beliefs that there will be no middle class. Sometimes people can make a change to get out of poverty but it depends on the person an there ambitions, its not always the norms and laws that cause people to be in poverty.
