"Night to His Day" The Social Construction of Gender talks about the different ways we are socialized based on gender. If men do something that is particularly seen as a job a women would do the man will be gendered simply by the silent feed back he gets from the people around him. For example a man pushing a strolling or taking care of a child in public. But its not just the adult being gendered its the child as well. We are gendered even when we are baby's being giving certain color clothing and certain patterns to establish ones sex. Its true as the article says that men do have more power than men, it seems to have always been this way. It has changed but still over all men come out on top.
